Patient allegedly received an implant on (b)(6) 2008 via the right internal jugular vein due to deep vein thrombosis (dvt)/ pulmonary embolism (pe).Patient is alleging vena cava perforation.Per computed tomography report, "the ivc filter is tilted anteriorly with the tip approaching the anterior wall of the ivc.The tip is less than 4.5 cm below the lowest, right renal vein.All four long prongs protrude up to 1 cm outside of the outer diameter up 1 cm.There is no penetration of adjacent organs or vascular structures.The short prongs are contained in the lumen.".
