It was reported that a patient underwent a total hip replacement procedure on (b)(6) 2022 and a barbed suture was used.During closure on the initial pass, the needle pulled off the suture.Another like device was used to complete the procedure.There were no adverse consequences for the patient.No additional information was provided.
