Event Description

Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that they had one last october and it came through their skin.They are waiting for it to be replaced.

Event Description
|
Additional information was received from the patient.They reported that it lasted until (b)(6)2022 when they started feeling pressure from the site.They didn't think anything about it until when they would breathe it would push further out.About a week later, they started seeing what the doctor would tell them were sutures.The patient told the doctor "no" because they were hard.Fast forward about a week or so after that, the things they thought were sutures, it was the machine.It came through their body completely.They rushed them to emergency surgery where they had it removed.
