Event Description
|
It was reported that this left ventricular (lv) lead has dislodged after pocket closure.The physician already exhausted all possible location and did not want to revise.The physician decided to open the pocket when the lead was back in the coronary sinus.The lead was explanted and placed a port plug.Boston scientific technical services (ts) discussed programing options when the lead is not is service.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.

This product has not been returned for analysis.This report will be updated should additional information become available or if analysis is completed.Upon receipt at our post market quality assurance laboratory, visual inspection of the lead was performed.Inspection of the lead body and electrode tip found no anomalies.Laboratory testing did not identify any lead characteristics that would have resulted in the clinical observation of dislodgement.
