Event or Problem Description
It was reported that patient had uneventful recovery from total knee but shows up in emergency room this week with swollen draining knee and diagnosis of an untreated persistent uti.Due to draining, surgeon chooses to perform an i&d of knee, poly exchange and placement of antibiotic absorbable beads.Frozen section from pathology is inconsistent with infection.There was no surgical delay.Doi: (b)(6) 2022.Dor: (b)(6) 2022.Affected side: left knee.
