Event Description
|
It was reported that the patient presented to the emergency department experiencing bradycardia with heart rate in the thirties, which is below the device programmed lower rate setting.The cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited a possible pacing issue.The crt-d remains in use. no further patient complications have been reported, as a result of this event.

Additional information received from the physician office noted the bradycardia was not due to a product performance issue but related to the emergency room heart monitor was wrong and the patient premature ventricular contractions (pvc).
