It was reported that an alert was received through latitude regarding anti-tachycardia pacing (atp) and shock therapy being delivered to convert an arrhythmia.Upon review, it was observed that the atp was delivered at a slower rate than the ventricular tachycardia (vt) rate.Following the two atp bursts, the rhythm was accelerated to vt, and two electric shocks were required to convert the rhythm.The cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) device remains in service and no additional adverse patient effects were reported.
