It was reported that the patient's hip was revised again, this time due to dislocation of her temporary spacer bipolar hip--she was still being treated for the recurrent infection, and had the untreated posterior column acetabular fracture.Surgeon removed the stem antibiotic spacer, and the head and bipolar construct, leaving a girdlestone hip, with no replacement spacer. He then performed an open reduction internal fixation of the posterior column acetabular fracture with a 6 hole pelvic reconstruction plate and screws. The wound was partially closed, and a wound vac again applied to encourage healing and recovery of her open wound. She tolerated the procedure well. This has not been addressed in previous complaints.Doi: on (b)(6) 2023, dor: on (b)(6) 2023, affected side: unknown hip.
