This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional and/or corrected information. The following sections were added/corrected: b1, b2, g1, h6: clinical code, impact code, medical device problem code, type of investigation, investigation findings, investigation conclusion. The revision reported was likely the result of loss of range of motion and prosthesis wear of their polyethylene component. The cause of the observed wear cannot be confirmed but may be related to bone and/or bone cement overhang of the femoral component. However, loss of range of motion and the series of events cannot be confirmed and potential contributions of user or patient-related considerations to the event could not be assessed as pre-operative radiographs were not provided for evaluation. If any further information is obtained that would change or alter any information provided, a supplemental report will be filed accordingly.
