Information was received from a healthcare professional via manufacturer representative regarding a crosslink and driver used in t11/t12 decompression and posterolateral fusion for stenosis.Levels implanted: t11 and t12 it was reported that the crosslink was attached to the rods and the gold screws were tightened. The central screw on the crosslink wouldn¿t tighten and torque off as normal. The surgeon was concerned that the driver wasn¿t working properly and turning the screw. He thought it was possibly stripping/ making indentations on the screw head. The crosslink was removed and replaced with a new crosslink. The driver was used on the patient during the surgery. No patient symptoms were reported. No further complications were reported/anticipated.
