|
According to the reporter, the capsule was retained.It was placed two weeks ago and the patient went into the emergency room with complaint of chest pain.The capsule was removed with a hot snare.It was found based upon persistent symptoms of discomfort that led to a chest x-ray that showed the retained capsule.The patient still has some minor chest discomfort at 2-week follow up.
