Event or Problem Description
The patient moved slightly, due to how they were pinned in the head holder. The purple line does not correspond to the same place on the dot artifact from the fiber or the brainstem in all three images. The competitor representative also reviewed the 3d images taken for the first trajectory and noticed a slight shift in them. The health care professional stated that the way they pinned the patient was not ideal and the small movement would be consistent with the pin placement. Also they made the following suggestions for better visualization of the tmap image when using flex coils and low powers and short laser on times that are typical with "hh and cp" cases: drop threshold from default of 40 if it appears pixels are dropping out in the center of the ablation zone.Drop the false color from default of 42 to 40 to visualize pixels more quickly on the lower power test dose (after a change in temperature of 3 degrees from the baseline of 37, versus 5 when 42 is used) and to see more of the low temperature edge. For the thermal therapy team, this method of using the measure tool to assess movement only works for the competitor, as it has the option to copy image position.
