It was reported that this subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (s-icd) experienced difficulty in being interrogated during a change out procedure.During the case telemetry was lost and was unable to be reestablished.The following morning there was an additional attempt to interrogate with a different programmer and wand, with no success.The following day while this patient was awaiting predischarge at the hospital, a magnet telemetry reset was performed.Audible beeping tones could be heard.A magnet reset was performed which was successful.This s-icd remains in service.No adverse patient effects were reported.
