|
Information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding a trial patient who was using an external neurostimulator (ens). It was reported that when mapping the patient in the procedure room, lead connection was checked and showed "disconnect" on several electrodes even after removing/replacing them from the ens.Impedances were listed as 40,000 for multiple electrodes. The leads were tested with another ens and the problem continued. They removed both leads and implanted new leads. The issue was resolved.
