Additional Manufacturer Narrative
A getinge field service engineer (fse) was dispatched to evaluate the iabp unit and the physical state of the equipment is verified, the equipment is turned on and the log of alarms and events is verified from the service menu without finding any error message indicating power failure or low battery level.Additionally, it is verified that the console time agrees with the current time. The fse informed the staff, if they want to know the state of the batteries, they must carry out the factory test in which they must leave the battery charging without using the equipment for more than 8 hours, then the test is done from the service menu. The service menu is entered to perform a battery test, without being able to start the test, the batteries do not have enough charge despite lasting charging all weekend, simulator and balloon tests are carried out, detecting that the equipment lasts on against pressing 21 minutes, charging voltage is verified without finding anything new, it is suggested to change two backup batteries.
