Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the right ventricular (rv) lead triggered alerts for high rate non-sustained (hrns) episodes and sensing integrity counter (sic).Hrns episodes showed true noise but pocket manipulation and isometrics were unable to reproduce the noise in clinic.Lead alerts were turned off to mitigate patient anxiety. The lead remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event. It was further reported that additional lias occurred due to sic, hrns episodes, and lead impedance variation. In addition, there was a jump in rv pacing impedance noted.Non-sustained ventricular tachycardia (nsvt) showed oversensing that was suggestive of possible interference with the patient's cardiac contractility modulation (ccm) device which had been implanted two weeks prior to the first sensing issues.Reprogramming was performed. The implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) and rv lead remain in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
