Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified superficial femoral artery.A 4.0mm x 220mm x 150cm coyote balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, during the second inflation at 6 atmospheres for 30 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with another of the same device.There were no patient complications reported, and the patient was in good condition post-procedure.
