Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 95% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified below-knee vessel.A 4.0mm x 220mm x 150cm coyote balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during the first inflation at 6 atmospheres for 5 seconds, the distal part of the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with another of same device.There were no patient complications reported and the patient was in good condition post-procedure.
