Zoll medical corporation has received the product and will be providing a supplemental report when our investigation is completed.
Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during a routine shift check by a clinician, the device was unable to obtain an ecg signal via electrode pads.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

Zoll medical corporation evaluated the device and the customer's report was not replicated or confirmed.The device was put through extensive testing including bench handling and stress testing while monitoring ecg without duplicating the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.No accessories were returned for evaluation at this time.No trend is associated with reports of this type.
