Event or Problem Description
It was reported that a patient underwent an unknown procedure on an unknown date and a barbed suture was used.During the procedure, it was noted that part of the fixation tab may have been missing. It was somewhat unclear as to whether it was a definite case of this. When they checked the wound after the registrar had closed it, it seemed half of the tab was not visible. In my experience it may be that it was partially covered by fatty tissue. It did not further impact the case. There were no adverse patient consequences reported.Additional information was requested.
