Event or Problem Description
It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited high out of range shock impedance measurements on this right ventricular (rv) lead.It is planned to continue to monitor and replace the lead during next generator change out procedure.No adverse patient effects were reported.At this time, this device system remains in service.
Event or Problem Description
It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) exhibited high out of range shock impedance measurements on this right ventricular (rv) lead.It is planned to continue to monitor and replace the lead during next generator changeout procedure.Further information was received that this lead was surgically abandoned and replaced.The crtd was explanted due to normal battery depletion (nbd).No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
