Event or Problem Description
An endurant iis stent graft system was implanted during the endovascular treatment of a 50mm aaa.It was reported that approximately 3 weeks post the index procedure the patient presented emergently with leg pain and the physician confirmed that the endurant limb was occluded.Intervention was performed and the left limb was de-clotted using a non mdt (penumbra) catheter and an additional endurant 16x10/24 limb was implanted along with an 8x59 bare metal balloon expandable stent in the left common iliac artery.Post the intervention the limb was de-clotted and the flow was restored.Per the physician the cause of the event was anatomy related due an outflow issue with the artery's smaller size and the existing stent graft. No additional sequelae were reported and the patient is fine.
