As reported by the user facility: detailed inquiry description: 490037: leaking chemo out of red filter by drip chamber.No injury reported.

This report has been identified as b.Braun medical internal report number (b)(4).One (1) sample was provided for evaluation.The spike was attached to an iv bag and observed for leakage from the red filter cap.No leakage was observed.The reported defect was not confirmed.Based on the results of the sample evaluation, the product met internal specifications.We will maintain this report for further references and continue to monitor other reports for similar occurrences.If any additional pertinent information becomes available, a follow up will be submitted.
