According to the complainant the device will not be returned for investigation.We are unable to confirm the reported unsuspended insulin.Lot release records were reviewed and the product lot met all acceptance criteria.
Event or Problem Description
It was reported the patient's blood glucose level dropped to 40 mg/dl.The patient reported that they tried to suspend their insulin but was unsuccessful.As treatment, the patient drank 5 cans of coca cola, ate half pint of ice cream and a candy bar.
