Event or Problem Description
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation system being used outside of a procedure. It was reported that two passive planar blunt probes were not working. The two probes were flashing on the screen during navigation. The navigation system did not always recognize them. the suspected cause was that it could be a slight deformation of the probes that were not able to be seen.Maybe caused by many manipulation, usage, and sterilization. It was confirmed that there was no patient involvement.
