Event or Problem Description
It was reported that ballon rupture occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified superficial femoral artery.A 5.0 x 200, 75cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during second inflation at 16 atmospheres for 15 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed using normal method without issue and the procedure was completed with a different device.No complications were reported, and the patient was in good condition post procedure.
