Event or Problem Description
An endurant iis stent graft system along with endoanchors were implanted during the endovascular treatment of a 55mm abdominal aortic aneurysm. The aortic neck diameter was noted to measure 29-28mm, from proximal to distal. The proximal aortic neck was noted as wide, exhibiting mild calcification and no thrombus. It was reported on the one-month follow-up, ct identified infolding with a type ia endoleak.Per the physician the cause the endoleak and infolding was due to the oversizing. No additional clinical sequelae were reported, and the patient will be monitored.

Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Film evaluation summary: the reported stent graft infolding and type ia endoleak were confirmed on the films received.Mild stent graft oversizing was observed relative to the proximal aortic neck measurements, which could be a contributing factor to the infold. The type ia endoleak was most likely caused by the infolding. It is possible that a concomitant small type ii endoleak from patent collateral vessels is present.Analysis of the returned films did not reveal any stent graft integrity issues.Medtronic submits this report to comply with fda regulations 21 cfr parts 4 and 803.Medtronic has made reasonable efforts to provide as much relevant information as is available to the company as of the submission date of this report. This report does not constitute an admission or a conclusion by fda, medtronic, or its employees that the device, medtronic, or its employee caused or contributed to the event described in the report.Any required fields that are unpopulated are blank because the information is currently unknown or unavailable.Medtronic will submit a supplemental report if additional relevant information becomes known.
