Medtronic received information regarding a navigation device being used during a sacroiliac and thoracolumbar procedure. It was reported that the surgeon was concerned that the left and right thoracic tactile probes may be bent. The instruments verified as intended, but when in use, the surgeon was concerned it was not giving a straight trajectory. The surgeon put pedicle markers in, spun the patient, looked along the same trajectories and continued with surgery. There was no delay in surgery. There was no impact on patient outcome.
