Event or Problem Description
According to the reporter, during a bariatric gastric bypass, the stapler worked without any issue when the surgeon stapled the intestine and stomach.During the second firing, the charge started to develop and it got stuck, which caused the handle to break.A new reload was opened, but it did not work.The handle was replaced with another one and the staple worked normally.There was no patient injury.
