H11: this complaint has been reassessed based on additional information gathered by the manufacturer. It was determined that this event does not fulfill reporting requirements per 21cfr803.The alleged instrument is intended for mini-fragment plate cutting to the desired length based on the patient's anatomy, type of bone fracture and surgeon's preference. The plate is prepared externally to the patient and away from the surgical site, which prevents any broken pieces from entering the incision.
