Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device displayed a "defib pacer device failure " message.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation; the customer's report was duplicated and attributed to a processor/bridge/pace board.The processor/bridge/pace board will be replaced to resolve the report.The device will be recertified and returned to the customer once the repair estimate has been approved.Analysis for reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
