Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device displayed "compressor fault - 2001" and "compressor fault - 3001" error messages.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

Zoll medical corporation has not received the product for evaluation and this complaint is still under investigation.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.The customer's report was verified and attributed to foreign substance in the manifold assembly and debris on the flow screens.The manifold assembly and flow screens were replaced to remedy the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis for reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
