Event or Problem Description
According to the reporter, during a right lobe subtotal thyroidectomy and right recurrent laryngeal nerve exploration, when the wound was sutured, the synthetic absorbable surgical suture had the needle and suture detachment after one stitch.The new suture was immediately replaced.The operation was successful and the patient was returned to the ward safely.
