Complainant alleged that while attempting to monitor a female patient (age unknown), the device's display blanked out.Complainant indicated that there was no adverse effect to the patient due to the reported malfunction.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
The device was returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.The customer's report was duplicated and attributed to a faulty lcd display module.The lcd display module was replaced to resolve the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
