Event or Problem Description
It was reported that by the patient "heard the magnet tone but there are no magnets around me, the device must be malfunctioning because i'm not around a magnet."  additionally, the patient indicated several times that the device was malfunctioning.  the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) remains in use.  no patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
