Event or Problem Description
According to the reporter, prior to use, the unit was not functioning, had a low readings.The cable was tested and found that intermittently spo2 value dropping down to 90% and then back up again.It was stated that the cable needed replacement and provided a replacement cable to the user.There was no patient involvement.
