Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 99% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and mildly calcified pulmonary artery.A 5.0mmx20mmx80cm (4f) sterling balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.During first inflation at 5 atmospheres for 2 seconds, the balloon ruptured in a pinhole form near the middle of the balloon, the device was removed using normal method without issue and the procedure was completed with a different device.No complications were reported, and the patient was in good condition post procedure.
