Additional Manufacturer Narrative
The manufacturer previously reported: "the manufacturer recieved an allegation that the device's built-in battery was too low and did not sustain the charge. There was no patient harm reported." this report is to correct the reportability, as this complaint is not reportable. After further investigation, it was found that the ac power of the device was not plugged in, resulting in the device's battery being depleted. After connecting to the power source and restarting, it prompted the need to repair the ventilator.Other functions of the ventilator were normal, but after investigation by the engineer, it was suspected that the built-in battery was too low.Afterwards, it was continuously plugged in and used, and the battery was charged even during breathing pauses. Therefore, no product problem is found.
