Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that one month after a generator changeout procedure, there was a suspected header connection issue with the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd), observed through a lead integrity alert (lia) triggered for sensing integrity counter (sic) and variation in lead impedance, as well as non-physiologic noise. It was further reported that there was difficulty during the implant procedure and it was unclear if the air was properly burped during lead insertion into the header. The icd remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
