Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 99% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and moderately calcified vessel common iliac artery.A 8.0 x 20, 75cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.During the procedure, the balloon ruptured upon first inflation at 12 atmospheres for 5 seconds.The device was removed without any problem, and the procedure was completed with another of the same device.No complications were reported, and the patient was in good condition after the procedure.
