Medtronic received information regarding a guidance system being used during a spinal procedure. It was reported that there were two screws that were found medial, one at left l4 and right t11.Both of the screws were repositioned with navigation after the guidance system was finished. It seemed the tissue pressure factored in as the site was fighting it when placing l4 with a cannula. There was no patient harm and the procedure was delayed less than one hour.
