Event or Problem Description
Information was received from healthcare provider (hcp) via a manufacturer representative regarding a patient having spine arthrodesis for scoliosis.It was reported that a part of the screwdriver came off when placing the screw and it was unsoldered without any force or incorrect maneuver.When trying to remove the screw with screwdriver, the screwdriver broke and broken part was retrieved.There were no patient symptoms reported.There were no further complications reported regarding the event.
