It was reported that during use of the device for cardiopulmonary bypass (cpb), the centrifugal control unit (ccu) blanked out for a brief moment before coming back on.The information was still present on the central control monitor (ccm) and the issue did not reoccur.The surgical procedure was completed successfully.There was no delay, no blood loss, nor adverse consequences to the patient.
