Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during a routine shift check by a clinician, the device inappropriately shut down.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
The customer's report was verified and attributed to corrupted software.Review of the logs observed the device is operating with an older configuration, which may cause it to shut down when acquiring a 12 lead.The fault could not be reproduced during testing.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
