Event or Problem Description
It was reported that during a laparoscopic hysterectomy procedure, the device was used to close the vaginal cuff when the needle broke in half.The broken needle fell into the cavity of the patient and was left in the patient.An x-ray was performed to locate the needle, but it was not retrieved.
