This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional and/or corrected information. The revision reported was likely the result of tibial insert prosthesis wear.Potential causes of polyethylene wear include high contact stresses during knee flexion, excessive posterior slope resulting in excessive posterior contact, inclusion of the polyethylene insert in the packaging recall and being packaged for more than five years prior to implantation, patient-related factors, or any combination of these possibilities. If any further information is obtained that would change or alter any information provided, a supplemental report will be filed accordingly.
