It was reported that during a cryo ablation procedure, the surgeon performed an atrial septal puncture.Since the outer sheath diameter of the adjustable curved catheter sheath was 15f, it was difficult to deliver after entering into the femoral vein. The surgeon decided to use a blade to dilate the skin of the patient's femoral vein.Due to the patient's anatomy, the blade scratched the femoral artery, causing the patient to bleed continuously. At this time, corresponding rescue measures were taken and the patient was observed for two hours. The patient was out of danger and transferred to the ward for continuous observation. The case was aborted. No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
