It was reported that the procedure was to treat the left anterior descending (lad) coronary artery with mild calcification.A 3.0x15 mm nc trek balloon dilatation catheter (bdc) was used for pre-dilatation and the 3.0x18 mm xience skypoint stent delivery system (sds) was advanced to the lesion. At this time it was observed via angiography that the stent was smaller than the nc trek balloon.A 3.0x23mm xience skypoint stent was used to complete the procedure. There were no adverse patient effects and there was no clinically significant delay in the procedure. No additional information was provided.
