Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that the patient became symptomatic with loss of capture. It was also reported that the right ventricular (rv) lead exhibited suspected fracture, high impedance, polarity switch, rising impedance, and high thresholds. It was noted that the lead exhibited insulation breach at the lead tip or severe encapsulation/mineralization of the lead tip.The lead was reprogrammed and later explanted and replaced. No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
