Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the revision of an attune due to a loose tibia was performed.Surgeon said it was a very well-balanced knee, poly insert did not have any wear and surgeon said, 'it still looks new', but the patient does have rheumatoid arthritis and indicated that this may be a reason behind the loosening. The femoral component was well fixed. The patella component was well fixed (and not revised). The tibia was very loose and did not take much at all to extract. The surgeon then asked if this was our old tibia before s+ which i confirmed it was.It came out clean as i have seen multiple times before, with no cement at all on the tibial component right side. They also had their left side done (unsure when) but they will monitor this side too.
